Golf or Elite Golf Academy
Shawn Clement, Director of our Learning Centre, is one of the Top 25 CPGA Teachers in Canada as rated by Score Golf Magazine and is a regular contributing editor with Score Golf Magazine.
Participants in the Golf and Elite Academies will benefit from our investment in all the top training aids you see on the Golf Channel including Video Analysis, Launch Monitor and even a golf Simulator for rainy days.
Gold Academy
Your child will enjoy the mix of learning and fun that comes with every lesson. They will learn the true fundamentals of the set-up(grip, stance, posture and ball position) and the swing(address, backswing, through impart and finish).
We also have a 4-hole short course designed with holes from 30 to 60 yards with uphill and side-hill lies to perfect your child's abilities. Combine this with our large putting green where we have putting instruction and putting contests.
As an added bonus, they will also go out on our very own championship golf course to test and evaluate their skills at least once during the week.
Elite Golf Academy
When your youngster is getting to the point where they are good enough to strike the ball in the air over 100 yards consistently, they can be enrolled in our Elite Academy.
Here we start the day at 8:00 am (no morning busing available) and head out on the golf course after a 30 minute warm up. The senior instructor evaluates their strengths and weaknesses and prescribes the practice session for post round from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. The instruction is more advanced and the goal here is to get them ready for tournaments as many of them play in events in the CJGA over the course of the summer.
After lunch kids from the Elite Academy will join those in the regular Golf Academy to participate in a variety of different sports, including swimming, baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and many more.
